IDA.IDA a independent production company, was created in order to answer the specific production needs of unconventional and experimental films at the crossroads of cinema and art. It was founded by Emilie Dudognon.

After working at the Centre Pompidou’s Flammarion bookstore (where she was notably responsible for the photo and cinema shelves), Emilie Dudognon turned towards art film production in 2005. After several years with Fin Avril, she decided to focus on creative documentaries and in 2010 joined the company The Factory, ran by Frank Eskenazi. In early 2015, she launched IDA.IDA.

Born in 1978, she studied sociology with a specific focus on the role of the image within this field, investigating methods to implement the image within a sociological approach. She graduated with a DESS in Image and Society.

Her first international co-production, Ouroboros by Basma Alsharif, opened in Locarno in 2017.

Since her beginnings, Emilie Dudognon collaborated with Basma Alsharif, Dominique Cabrera, Anne-Laure Sacriste, Claudia Triozzi, Claire Angelini, Natacha Nisic, Marcel Ophuls, Eyal Sivan, Christophe Atabékian, Steve Arguëlles, Catherine Dalfin, François Caillat, Silvia Radelli, Chloé Mahieu, Lila Pinell, Xanaé Bove...
