IF THE SHADOWS WERE HUMAN, IT WOULD THINK LIGHT WAS A MYTH - ZIAD KALTHOUM
DOCUMENTARY
France, Germany
Feature | Color | HD
If the Shadow were human, it would think Light was a Myth is a still portrait of exilel.
A portrait of Muzaffar Salman, a Syrian photographer who is trying to rebuild his new life and work in France, while images of war keeps hunting him.

Visually, built from Muzzafar's series of photographs, taken in Rouen and Syria, it’s finally less a linear relationship to time which is exploring in this film, than an exploration of memory, memories and traumas, and how they inhabit, construct and/or destroy us.
